2010

Now that Christmas has just ended, new year awaits, one day more to celebrate the new year 2011. Well, many things have happened this year, most of it are my wishes that came true. First of all, I managed to grad, get a job, get a new car. It is really wonderful to have all in one year itself very fast. Things in life have changed, my expectations, my goals, my daily routine, now it is not like typical student life, but more to a busy life but yet an enjoying one.

Sometimes i get too bored, since i have 4 days off due to current work routine and time, i hope life would be better and I would seriously want to meet someone better in life that can change this to a wonderful life - this can be my new year resolution :D

I'm getting more open in thinking, 2010 has showed me a lot of lessons, most of it for the good, some are bad incidents like my car accident, i miss my datsun but it is meant to be like this. I plan to just move on as i know more opportunities and reward awaits me in 2011.

The one thing that made me going all this while in 2010 is confidence. Things that never seem to be easy to be done or achieved made possible by me because of my mere confidence that nothing is impossible.

Another great thing to see in 2010 was Malaysia my country i was born won a quite high soccer competition in history after last in 1989 and now its at 2010 end. Its the winning of Asian Football Federation Suzuki Cup 2010 after beating Indonesia 4-2 in a fan-packed tournament in history.

I personally looking for a great 2011 ahead and its Rabbit year according to Chinese calendar so we'll hope for a fast paced year i guess ;)

Dream 25 December 2010

I've been getting weird dreams lately, some of them are very interesting, some of them even scary, i think every dream has a message, well just hours ago i dreamt a "nightmare" where a couple of people including me when for a "vacation" like trip and went to a one isolated hospital to visit the area. What happened was, we saw a doctor, he said there is a closed room just nearby in the hospital itself that is haunted by at least 4 ghosts. He also added that the ghosts will start to "attack" if the public tend to open the door of the room and do some insulting stuff. After meeting the doctor, we all went out of the doctor's room and was looking around the "haunted room" and suddenly a bunch of people from our trip straight away opened the door and did some insulting stuff like screaming and yelling to see what happens. That moment was like the disaster moment for me as i can't do anything to prevent them. After they did that, they just closed the door and ran away. Apparently, me and my close friend was trapped where the haunted room is at our way out. All others that caused the trouble managed to run away. Then when we both try to run away also, but the actual problem started. The haunted room's door opened slowly without anybody around with the scary squeaking sound. I and my friend could not do anything as we expected the outcome as the doctor told us. We both managed to hide behind a wall where it is blocking vision so that anything that comes from the haunted room could not see us. We both just lied down on the floor and just prayed with our eyes closed so that anything bad won't happen. Suddenly, I felt some force came and hold my body that I can't even move. It made me to open my eyes and see what is happening in front of me even I don't want to. When I opened my eyes, I saw a lady ghost came slowly towards me and started to talk to me. I was scared that I could not even open my mouth to talk. That ghost actually told me one thing - "Tell your friends out there, we do not disturb your life if you don't disturb our life." I was like "Okay, okay..I'll inform them." . The ghost message was quite stern as it really meant what it was saying to me. After that my friend got "interviewed" by the ghost, I don't know what the ghost asked him, but still remember what it told me. After a while everything went back to normal as the ghost flew away back to its place and we both straight away went out of the hospital. To our suprise, all the others in the trip including the one disturbed the ghost looking at me as if nothing has happened. I only remember the place was a hospital and it was surrounded my forest like jungle.

I can remember this much as there was not much after that. But one thing I need to tell you guys - "Ghost don't disturb your life if you don't disturb them." as the ghost said in my dream.

Tired

Just got back from a hectic night shift and after waking up from sleep, 1 day off and going to work again to night shift for 4 days.

Out of Focus

I woke up out of a sudden around 2.30am in the morning knowing that i've went through multiple dreams while was asleep. Guess my timing of sleep, meal and work has gone haywire! I'm sleeping when i'm not suppose to and awake at weird times. =.="

My Shift work life

I started my shift work that is 12 hours by working night shift on tuesday night - 28/9/10 7pm - 7am. It was a total different experience for me as i'm not used to it, when most people go back from work, i will enter work, but i'm learning to adapt quickly. First day i could work without sleeping, but second day i could feel the tiredness throughout my body until morning until i get some sleep. Phew! its a hectic work, but when i think back, i was thinking how my Dad and Mum suffered while they worked 12 hours like me staying up at night just for the family. Now, I'm gonna take this as a gift from God rather than mere obstacle as God gave me the chance to experience how my parents went through hard times in their life. Again, I strive to be a better person in life after all this sacrifice for a good future ;-)

Facebook Mobile

I was wondering for a long time to use the facebook mobile with my phone, now i've got the idea to surf using the url http://0.facebook.com. For Malaysians who use Digi as their telecommunications provider, they can enjoy free facebook mobile without any data charges using that url. Nice that i can update my status anywhere, anytime. The free data charges applies when you are surfing without viewing the photos, if you want to view photos and other extra stuff that is not visible as default, standard data charges may apply, the charges also apply when you leave facebook and go to other mobile site. Fair enough!

1st Car Service

I went for the so called "1st Free car service" by Proton today to service my new car. Obviously it reached 1000km so fast. Well, thinking that its gonna be free, i went with the money i have and registered at the service centre. But unfortunately the guy who is attending me said the free service means "free labour charge". Damn! this made me go back to take my car and withdraw some extra money. It costed me RM155.50 for the parts like engine oil, oil filter, fuel treatment fluid, screen wash fluid and so on. Haiz! i need to spent this amount of money for another 2 time for 5000km and 10000km service.

8 is my lucky day

8/8/2010 (8th August 2010) was the day i finally graduated. Having to go through plenty of obstacles through my study life, i finally holding a degree, happy in one sense that i managed to win my dream, another side was happy to make my parent's dream come true. I was always hoping for that moment and it went through smoothly, thanks God for the blessings throughout my studies, i never would have succeeded so easily without your mighty help all along. Thanks friends for helping me when times i was down, now i'm back with a new life after graduating. Looking forward to achieve some good things while in my working life.

3 weeks already

It has been around 3 weeks already since i was with my ride, the old school Datsun 120Y. Sad to say, its going to leave me. The bad day happened on 30th July 2010 where i met with an accident. I was ok, but the damage left to my ride was enough to make it leave me. So sad, it has been years with you, you have helped me a lot. Thanks my ride, i will remember you forever.

Glückwünsche Germany!

I wanted Germany to win badly..and they did! 4-0 against the Argies is quite a suprise! go go Germany! Guess i can see u in the finals!

Netherlands won!

It was quite a shock to see Holland winning the match with Brazil after a 1-0 down, they came back with 2-1 score. I hoped for Holland to win and they did it! Yes!

What a lucky day!

I felt really lucky today..first, i went into a place very hard to enter in terms of high security and critical equipments - The Data Centre! Of coz we can't simply enter, an engineer created a request ticket for me and my colleague Melissa to enter data centre, reason was to troubleshoot library -this is damn funny..haha . We managed to enter with the engineer and insert about 10 LTO 2 tapes in the library, at a point i was shocked when the robotic arm in the library start moving..haha. Secondly, i really saw with my bare eyes 2 rainbows 1 on top another at the same time. That was really wonderful! I've never seen things like this in my life before..fuh! what a day!

Ride customization, Family Day

Hi! guess i'm back from a long absence, have done lots of thing during the period, firstly, the thing i was craving for a long time was to upgrade my car, now its upgraded on a level -tires, rims, tie rods, center rod, ball joints - all these was giving problems for me and now my ride is just smooth and stable when i use it. Thank God. By the way, i'm just back from T-Systems Family Day celebration at Times Square KL. I enjoyed a lot where i'm able to communicate with a lot of high management people freely, most important thing was the free food + free theme park rides + free movie - whoa! first time having this kinda privileges..its damn good..really enjoyed today and thanks to the family day committee as well for maintaining that everything goes well..we did great!

New addiction @ new hobby

I recently got attached @ addicted to Twitter, I don't know how but it just happened straight away after i created the account. Apart from Facebook, i find this something unique as this site allows status updates only from users , its not full of your biodata and stuff such as Facebook. Make your Firefox load faster

After this simple hacking to your Mozilla Firefox browser, you will be able to surf faster than before.

Type about:config in the address bar, Then look for the following entries, and make the corresponding changes.

You can use the filter bar to search for the corresponding values out of the many values that are displayed. How? just copy and paste the value to the filter bar and it will filter it for you the matching one. Eg. Copy and paste network.http.max-connections-per-server to the filter bar to get the exact value. After that just change the value to the give ones below.

Microsoft Windows reserves 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes like Windows Updates and interrogating your PC

Its not permanent as you can override or change it:

Click Start then Run and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes. This opens the group policy editor.

Then double click and navigate through :
-> Local Computer Policy -> Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Network -> QOS Packet Scheduler -> Limit Reservable Bandwidth.

Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth.

If you go to the "explain" tab, you can know more about how this reservable bandwidth functions.

For the faster internet speed, simply ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, so you will get the extra 20% bandwidth.

I have tried it and it shows some greater speed in internet surfing.

Is 9/11 staged or real?

Based on Dr. Mahathir's comment on the attack recently in a conference, I felt that I could look into the video he saw, and I managed to get some info about the attack. It's convincing me that the attack was staged. Here's the link for the video :
